The refund must be initiated by January 31 of the following year. This extended return period is a great relief for those who might have missed the initial 30-day window or need more time to finalize their holiday shopping.
Conditions for Returning Merchandise
To receive a full refund or exchange, your return must meet certain conditions:
- Original Receipt Required: You need the original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation to initiate a return or exchange.
- Merchandise in Resalable Condition: The merchandise must be in its original condition, with all tags attached (where applicable) and the original packaging intact.
- Return Methods: You can return or exchange your merchandise in three ways: by visiting an A&F store, using the online returns and exchanges process, or by contacting the customer service department if you placed an order via the Pickup in Store feature.
Specific Return Details
- Return to Store: If you choose to return or exchange your merchandise at an A&F store, you must bring the items and order invoice to the store. Online orders placed in USD can only be returned or exchanged in U.S. stores.
- Online Returns: For online returns, you can initiate the process within 30 days of the estimated delivery date of the last shipment or the actual delivery date, whichever occurs later. A \$7.00 fee will be deducted from your refund for online returns, but exchanges are fee-free.
- Promotional Returns: If you return part of a qualifying purchase, the promotional discounts will be prorated and applied to your subsequent refund amount. This means if complimentary merchandise received as part of a qualifying purchase is not included in the return and the return transaction falls below the qualifying purchase threshold, you will only be eligible for merchandise credit for the value of the return.
Exceptions and Exclusions
