Seattle offers an exciting sports scene with the Seattle Kraken competing in the NHL. If you're planning to watch the Kraken play, here’s how to reach the Climate Pledge Arena easily.

Driving to Climate Pledge Arena

Climate Pledge Arena is located in the Seattle Center. To get there, set your GPS to 334 1st Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109.

  • From the North: Take I-5 South and exit on Mercer Street. Continue on Mercer St, turn right onto Queen Anne Ave N, then left onto Republican St. This will lead you straight to the arena.
  • From the South: Use I-5 North toward Seattle, then exit 167 for Mercer St toward Seattle Center. Follow the same route as above from Mercer.
  • From the Eastside: Utilize SR-520 or I-90 West to merge with I-5. Follow the instructions for either direction of travel.

Look for signs directing you to parking as you approach the arena.

Parking at Climate Pledge Arena

Parking can be challenging during game days. Climate Pledge Arena partners with ParkWhiz for parking reservations. It’s advisable to book your spot online in advance.

There are various parking lots and garages nearby, with over 10,000 spaces available. Prices may vary based on location and game popularity. Street parking is available but ensure you check signage to avoid tickets.

Public Transportation to Climate Pledge Arena

Public transportation is a convenient option for reaching the arena.

  • By Bus: King County Metro has multiple routes stopping near Seattle Center. Use the King County Metro Trip Planner for the best routes on game day.
  • By Monorail: The Seattle Center Monorail provides quick access from downtown in about two minutes, stopping at Westlake Center and Seattle Center.
  • By Light Rail: The Link light rail services downtown Seattle. From there, you can transfer to the monorail at Westlake Center or catch a nearby bus.

Consider getting an ORCA card in advance. This card can be used across buses, the monorail, and light rail, offering time savings and better value than single tickets.
